Tuesday, November 4 - 1st marking period report card grades available on HAC

snap (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) & School Meal Programs - What you need to know:

At this time, there is no disruption in school meal status for students receiving SNAP.  Students currently approved for free school meals will continue to receive benefits for the remainder of the school year.

Students who attend a school participating in the Community Eligibility Program will continue to receive free meals.

Parents/guardians affected by the Federal Shutdown may use their current household income to complete a meal benefit application with their local school district.

New Student Registrations

New student registrations are accepted by appointment only.  Please contact the Counseling Office at 301-475-0215 and select option 3 or you may call and enter one of these direct extensions - Mrs. VanRyswick - 38120 or Mrs. Buckmaster - 38104 to schedule an appointment.  For your appointment, you will need to bring the following documents:

  • Birth Certificate
  • Immunization record
  • Proof of residence (any utility bill, mortgage statement, property tax bill or a signed lease agreement)
  • Photo ID

Personal Electronic Use

Students are not permitted to use cellphones and personal electronics, except during the following times: before 8:00 a.m., during the one-hour lunch period (12:06-1:11 p.m.), and after 2:45 p.m. They are expected to be turned off and out of sight. If you violate this policy, your personal electronics will be confiscated and you will receive a referral. After the first offense, parents and guardians will be required to come to school to pick up the personal electronics, and additional consequences will be given. Refusal to turn in your personal electronics will also result in further consequences.
